Tools like emotional branding, cool-hunting, and guerilla marketing are often used to enter the consumer psyche. However, these tools by themselves cannot explain the iconic success of cult brands like Apple, Harley Davidson, Guinness, and Nike. The science of cultural branding is one of the most difficult and rewarding concepts in the field of marketing. The creation of a cultural brand is the "Holy Grail" of marketing.
